Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and support to ensure compliance with regulations in the FMCG sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to local laws and regulations relevant to the food industry in Mumbai.
  • Assist in managing legal risks and resolving disputes effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address legal queries and provide solutions.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their impact on business operations.
  • Support the implementation of legal policies and procedures within the organization.
  • Work closely with external counsel when required to ensure optimal legal outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • LL.B/LL.M
  • 9-14 years of experience
  • Proven experience in legal advisory roles, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in India, particularly in Mumbai.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving practical business solutions.
