Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with due diligence processes, identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align legal strategies with business goals.
  • Support the legal team in managing regulatory filings and approvals.
  • Monitor post-transaction obligations and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
  • Research and interpret legal precedents relevant to the life science sector.
  • Respond to legal queries and provide solutions to complex legal challenges.

The Successful Applicant

  • LL.B/LL.M
  • 3-5 years of post qualification experience in M&A teams of Tier 1, 2, 3 law firms or in-house
  • Specialized knowledge of mergers and acquisitions
  • Prior experience in asset & business transfers, share acquisitions and minority investments
  • Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws and regulations.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating legal contracts.
