The Head Supply Planner will oversee the end-to-end supply planning process, ensuring optimal inventory levels and smooth operations within the FMCG industry. This role is based in Indore and requires expertise in procurement and supply chain management to help with the company's food-focused business
  • -10+ years of experience in FMCG or Pharma supply planning space
  • -experience in warehousing, purchasing, vendor mgmt, import/export & customs.

Job Description

  • Lead annual, monthly, and weekly planning with demand coordination and capacity-demand gap analysis.
  • Manage production planning, status tracking, and coordination with co‑packers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Drive PPC operations, integrating export and domestic demands into a unified plan.
  • Oversee RM/PM inventory planning, optimization, DOC/aging analysis, and cost‑efficient material movement.
  • Maintain BOM accuracy and ensure smooth FIFO‑based material flow and production readiness.
  • Conduct logistics network optimization and align cross‑movement requirements for serviceability and cost reduction.
  • Prepare SCM dashboards, perform data analytics, and recommend improvement plans across logistics, purchase, and stores.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Supply Planner should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in supply planning within the FMCG industry, particularly in food products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools especially SAP.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost management.
