With operations across multiple project locations, the organization is looking for an experienced Supply Chain leader to strengthen procurement, subcontracting, materials management, and project supply chain performance.Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice President, you will:Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function covering procurement, strategic sourcing, subcontracting, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and materials management.Manage a sizeable SCM organization with 15+ direct and 50+ indirect team members across corporate and project locations.Develop sourcing and procurement strategies for maintenance, shutdown, turnaround, revamp, and industrial service projects.Lead multi-location procurement of mechanical equipment & spares, plant & machinery, tools & tackles, consumables, and MRO materials.Manage an annual procurement spend of approximately ₹200 Crore, driving commercial optimization and cost efficiencies.Lead vendor identification, development, qualification, negotiations, contracting, and performance management.Manage subcontracting requirements across projects, including commercial negotiations and contract administration.Oversee staffing and manpower contracts, including vendor selection, rate negotiations, contractual terms, and ongoing performance management.Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, tools, and subcontracted services across multiple project sites.Drive demand forecasting, material planning, inventory optimization, and effective warehouse and stores management.Coordinate logistics and material movement across project sites to meet demanding shutdown and turnaround schedules.Strengthen procurement governance, category management, spend visibility, and supply chain controls.Identify supply chain risks and establish alternate sourcing and contingency strategies for critical requirements.Partner closely with Projects, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and site leadership to ensure seamless project execution.Drive digitization and data-led decision-making through SAP MM, ERP, e-procurement platforms, and spend analytics.Establish SCM KPIs and dashboards covering cost savings, procurement cycle time, supplier performance, inventory, and project delivery.Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain organization across locations.The Successful ApplicantHolds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials Management preferred.Brings approximately 20+ years of experience across Supply Chain, Procurement, and Materials Management.Has at least 5-7 years of leadership experience within Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, EPC, Energy, or Industrial Contracting organizations.Has managed ₹200 Crore+ annual procurement spend and complex multi-location sourcing requirements.Demonstrates strong procurement exposure across mechanical equipment, spares, MRO, tools & tackles, consumables, and plant & machinery.Brings strong experience supporting shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, revamp, or project-based operations.Must have experience managing staffing/manpower contracts, including vendor negotiations and contract administration.Has strong expertise in strategic sourcing, subcontract management, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization.Understands demand planning, inventory control, warehousing, stores, and project logistics.Has hands-on exposure to SAP MM / ERP, e-procurement systems, and spend analytics.Demonstrates strong leadership, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and analytical capabilities.What's on OfferLeadership of the end-to-end Supply Chain function for a growing industrial services organization.Opportunity to manage ₹200 Cr+ procurement spend and complex multi-location project requirements.Strategic ownership across procurement, subcontracting, manpower contracts, logistics, and materials management.High-impact role supporting critical shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, and industrial projects.Quote job refJN-092026-7104788Job summaryFunctionProcurement & Supply ChainSub SectorSupply Chain ManagementWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationMumbaiJob TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-092026-7104788
