Job Description

  • Ensure procurement processes align with organisational policies and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost optimisation and efficiency improvement in procurement.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Oversee audits of procurement activities to ensure transparency and adherence to regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve procurement systems and processes within the organisation.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on procurement analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement objectives and deadlines.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and create mitigation plans to ensure continuity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head - Procurement Assurance should have:

  • A strong educational background in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field
  • Someone who has worked or setup an entire GCC /CoE for procurement
  • Identification of leakages and setting up SOPs across various businesses
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain operations, preferably working with an Indian setup
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess procurement performance and suggest improvements.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
