The Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organisation's technology infrastructure and systems to ensure seamless operations and support for business objectives. This role requires strong expertise and background in the commodity trading space (this is non negotiable) Budget - Upto 1 cr cash + bonus
  • Leadership Role - Lead and build the entire charter from grounds up
  • Build one of the largest platforms that scales up globally with massive volumes

Job Description

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the IT team, ensuring the development and retention of skilled professionals.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency in the manufacturing sector.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the IT budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the manufacturing industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT should have:

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, systems, and teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
