Job Description

  • Own and drive the R&D strategy for immunology reagents and assay platforms
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: concept, development, validation, scale-up, and commercialization
  • Spearhead development of ELISA-based assays (mandatory) along with CLIA and other immunoassays
  • Ensure high assay performance across sensitivity, specificity, and stability parameters
  • Establish robust validation protocols, SOPs, and regulatory documentation
  • Drive compliance with GLP, GMP, ISO, and global regulatory frameworks
  • Partner with manufacturing, QA/RA, and commercial teams for seamless product launches
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing R&D teams
  • Identify emerging technologies and create a forward-looking innovation pipeline
  • Manage external collaborations with vendors, research institutes, and partners

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Immunology should have:

  • 15+ years of experience in immunoassay development (mandatory)
  • Proven track record across the full lifecycle: concept to commercialization (mandatory)
  • Deep specialization in ELISA (mandatory); CLIA experience preferred
  • Ph.D. / M.Sc. in Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related Life Sciences
  • Strong experience in IVD reagent development and assay optimization
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and scaling R&D teams
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality systems
  • Ability to translate scientific innovation into commercially viable products
