Job Description

This role requires a strategic leader with strong expertise in equity & debt capital structuring, fundraising, financial planning, systems implementation, and investor management amongst others. The CFO will work closely with the founders to drive capital strategy, ensure financial discipline, and support rapid business growth.

  • Lead fundraising initiatives, including equity and debt financing
  • Build and manage relationships with investors, VCs, and financial institutions
  • Drive financial strategy, planning, and forecasting aligned with company growth
  • Develop robust financial models, valuations, and investor presentations
  • Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audits, and reporting standards
  • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven financial insights
  • Work closely with founders on business expansion, partnerships, and capital allocation
  • Build and lead the finance team as the company scales

The Successful Applicant

Required Sill Set:

  • CA/MBA with 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on fundraising and investor relations
  • Proven track record of raising institutional equity & debt capital.
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring
  • Experience in startup / high-growth environment (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Experience in managing compliance, audits, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability



Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing / packaging / sustainability sector
  • Prior experience working with VC-backed startups
