The role will be responsible for defining and driving the automation strategy across a portfolio of mission-critical data center facilities. The role will own the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of automation platforms across power, cooling, and operational systems.
  • 15+ yrs of Design experience in Automation, Building Management or Data Centers
  • Deep expertise in PLCs, DDCs, SCADA and cooling systems for complex setups

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the overall architecture and design of data center automation and control systems.
  • Developing control philosophies, functional design specifications, and automation standards across facilities.
  • Driving the integration of PLC, DDC, SCADA, BMS, and telemetry platforms.
  • Establishing OT network architecture, redundancy frameworks, and cybersecurity governance.
  • Managing automation systems supporting power infrastructure and Overseeing controls strategy for cooling infrastructure
  • Leading FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation, and failover testing activities.
  • Driving integration initiatives with DCIM platforms, AIOps tools, predictive analytics, and digital twin technologies.
  • Building automation analytics capabilities focused on energy efficiency, PUE optimization, thermal performance, and predictive maintenance.
  • Managing external technology partners, vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful project execution.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, BMS, SCADA, controls engineering, or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of data center power and cooling infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in automation platforms such as Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to OT cybersecurity frameworks and industrial network segregation principles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
