Job Description

  • Lead global customs and trade compliance across regions
  • Ensure adherence to import/export regulations, tariffs, and sanctions
  • Drive duty optimisation, FTA utilisation, and landed cost efficiency
  • Manage customs documentation, classification, and valuation processes
  • Ensure smooth customs clearance and cross-border flow of goods
  • Monitor regulatory and geopolitical risks impacting supply chain
  • Develop mitigation strategies for trade disruptions
  • Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, and finance teams
  • Manage customs brokers, freight forwarders, and external partners
  • Drive process standardisation and trade digitisation initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Customs & Trade Manager should have:

  • 10-12 years in customs, global trade, or supply chain operations
  • Strong experience in multinational trade compliance environments
  • Deep expertise in customs regulations, tariffs, and FTAs
  • Proven track record in duty optimisation and trade governance
  • Exposure to cross-border logistics and global supply chain networks
  • Strong stakeholder management across internal and external teams
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer sectors preferred
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
