Our client is a leading building construction and EPC organization with a strong track record of delivering large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across India.

As part of its continued growth, the organization is seeking a seasoned Planning & Project Controls leader to strengthen project governance, planning systems, and execution visibility across a significant portfolio of high-rise Design & Build projects in the Mumbai region.

Job Description

Reporting to senior leadership, the General Manager - Planning & Project Controls will be responsible for:

  • Leading planning and project controls across multiple high-value building projects.
  • Developing integrated master schedules from tender stage through project completion.
  • Establishing baseline schedules and monitoring project performance.
  • Driving short-, medium-, and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Leading Primavera P6 implementation and planning governance.
  • Monitoring critical path activities and implementing recovery plans.
  • Developing executive dashboards, MIS reports, and forecasting tools.
  • Driving manpower, equipment, and resource planning.
  • Coordinating with project, procurement, commercial, and billing teams.
  • Managing delay analysis, time impact assessment, and risk mitigation.
  • Standardizing planning processes across projects and mentoring planning teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience in building construction.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in Planning & Project Controls.
  • Proven experience managing project portfolios exceeding ₹2,000 Crores.
  • Strong background in high-rise building construction and Design & Build projects.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls systems.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, institutional, airport, or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, forecasting, and project governance capabilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational stability and progressive career growth.
