Job Description

Support the Financial Controller in managing fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury management, audits, and day-to-day finance operations across Category II AIFs and associated entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review NAV calculations, capital accounts, drawdowns, and distribution workings.
  • Manage quarterly and annual financial statements for AIF schemes.
  • Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, or applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators and custodians.
  • Support capital calls, investor onboarding, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
  • Review LP reporting packs and investor communications.
  • Monitor fund cash flows and liquidity requirements.
  • Coordinate SEBI AIF filings and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.
  • Track portfolio company valuations and investment movements.
  • Implement automation and controls for fund accounting processes.
  • Improve reporting MIS and dashboard capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Chartered Accountant with 4-10 years of relevant work experience in AIF/PE/VC fund accounting
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, capital calls/distributions, valuations, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in Fund Finance, AIFs, Private Equity, Asset Management, Fund Administration, or Financial Services Audit
  • Excellent stakeholder management and analytical capabilities
