The Finance Controller will manage financial operations and fund operations of a CAT 2 AIF. This role is based in Mumbai and is for a leading mid market private equity fund.

Job Description

  • Oversee fund and finance operations of a CAT 2 & CAT 3 AIF.
  • Well versed with Fund accounting, NAV calculation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Collaborate and liason with external stakeholders like fund admins, valuation experts etc.
  • Review and improve financial processes and controls.
  • Work with auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Support strategic decision-making with financial insights.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A strong background in Fund operations or AIF operations.
  • Experience in fund accounting and drawdowns.
  • Qualified CA
  • Confidence working with financial tools and systems.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
