Job Description

  • Handling billions in daily settlements, drive operational excellence while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Strategic leadership in digital transformation, spearheading AI and automation initiatives to enhance settlement efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Value creation is achieved through cost reduction, risk mitigation, and process optimization, while maintaining robust relationships with market infrastructure providers, custodians, and regulators. The position requires strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate with internal partners (Trading, Risk, Compliance) and external entities (Custodians, CSDs, Regulators).
  • Leadership responsibilities include directing a global team, driving technological transformation, managing risk frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves industry advocacy and market engagement, positioning the organization at the forefront of market structure evolution and technological advancement.
  • Location: Mumbai



The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 15+ years of experience in investment banking or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of securities settlement processes and market infrastructure
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Risk management and control framework expertise
  • Understanding of global markets and financial instruments
  • Settlement systems and platforms expertise
  • Understanding of STP (Straight Through Processing)
  • Experience with settlement automation tools
  • Knowledge of major custodian and CSD platforms
