Job Description

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the DGM - FP&A will lead the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes. The role will partner closely with CXOs, business heads, operations, and project teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly MIS reports, financial dashboards, scorecards, and variance analysis
  • Analysing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, margins, costs, working capital, and business KPIs
  • Driving profitability analysis across product, customer, geography, and business segments
  • Supporting strategic initiatives such as capex evaluation, pricing decisions, investment analysis, and cost optimisation
  • Developing financial models for business cases, new initiatives, and scenario analysis
  • Preparing management accounts, board packs, and performance commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Using data visualisation tools to present financial results and business insights
  • Strengthening FP&A frameworks, policies, controls, and reporting discipline
  • Partnering with senior leadership to align financial targets, performance outlook, and business priorities



The Successful Applicant

  • CA or MBA Finance qualification, preferred
  • 7-12 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, controlling, or performance management
  • Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial modelling, and business analysis
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, infrastructure, or project-led environment preferred
  • Ability to analyse P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, unit economics, margins, and working capital
  • Experience working in a multi-site, multi-geography, or global business environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SAP, ERP, or other digital FP&A tools
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with CXOs and business leaders in a high-growth environment
  • Strong attention to detail, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage tight timelines
