It also focuses heavily on localisation of globally developed technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, quality, and timely delivery.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end product development for scientific instruments including design, validation, and launch.
  • Drive localisation of technologies transferred from global teams into domestic manufacturing ecosystems.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle-from concept development to market readiness and commercialisation.
  • Collaborate across functions such as Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Vendor Development teams.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, validation protocols, and product testing requirements.
  • Oversee project execution including timelines, budget allocation, risk mitigation, and resource planning.
  • Support vendor development initiatives and localisation of critical components and subsystems.
  • Handle stakeholder coordination and ensure alignment across internal and external partners.



Location- Ahmedabad

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in scientific instrument or product development roles.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong background in analytical instruments such as Raman Spectroscopy, Particle Size Analysers, XRF Systems, or similar technologies.
  • Core Skills:
    • Product development lifecycle management
    • Product localisation and technology transfer
    • Project management (timelines, budgets, risks)
  • Environment Exposure: Experience working in regulated industries with strong quality and compliance requirements.
  • Functional Skills: Stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, vendor development.
  • Education: Likely a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
  • Tools/Approach: Familiarity with structured project management frameworks, validation protocols, and engineering development processes.
