Job Description

Designation: Design Lead - Footwear

Reports to: SVP, Regional Design

Location: Gurgaon

  • Define and drive the overall design vision and seasonal direction across footwear categories.
  • Create products that balance global design trends with local consumer insights and commercial realities.
  • Embed a strong focus on comfort, fit, and wearability into every stage of the design process.
  • Work closely with product development and technical teams to translate concepts into scalable, high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and business teams to ensure alignment with category strategy and pricing.
  • Partner with marketing to bring design stories to life for the consumer.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing design team.

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 10+ years in footwear design or footwear product design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative range and technical depth.
  • Experience leading teams and managing end-to-end product lifecycles.



Expertise

  • Deep understanding of footwear construction, materials, and comfort engineering.
  • Ability to translate trends and insights into commercially successful products.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, or 3D platforms.
