Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in the Chemical Industry.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to safety audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of safety equipment and systems at the Navi Mumbai facility.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes in safety management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Safety should have:

  • Educational qualifications in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Professional certifications in safety management or equivalent credentials.
  • Proven expertise in safety practices within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards relevant to the Chemical Industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle safety incidents effectively.
