The Demand Management Head based out of Cochin will be responsible for overseeing and optimising demand planning processes within the engineering and manufacturing department of the organisation. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of industrial and manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and supply chain management
  • 10+ years in demand & production planning for connectors & cables
  • Well-versed with Power BI, Excel analytics & forecasting

Job Description

  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies to optimise inventory and production schedules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand accurately
  • Monitor market trends and customer requirements to align production goals
  • Analyse sales data to identify patterns and adjust demand plans accordingly
  • Ensure seamless communication between supply chain, production, and sales teams
  • Identify areas for improvement in demand management processes and propose actionable solutions
  • Prepare and present demand planning reports to stakeholders regularly
  • Utilise demand planning tools and software to enhance operational efficiency

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand Management Head should have:

  • A degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in demand planning within the electronics or manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to managing tasks
