The Data Product Architect will build the data architecture from scratch, converting fragmented manufacturing and quality data into standardized, reusable data products using ontology, semantic and graph-based data models. The role will also own data modeling, integration, governance and DataOps, creating a scalable data foundation across Zydus plants.

Job Description

    • Define and drive enterprise data architecture across business functions.
    • Design scalable data models and architecture frameworks for complex enterprise data.
    • Work on industrial data ontology, semantic models and knowledge-graph concepts.
    • Establish standards for data integration, modelling, governance and interoperability.
    • Connect data from multiple enterprise and manufacturing systems into a structured architecture.
    • Partner with business, data and technology teams to translate requirements into data architecture solutions.
    • Support development of reusable data products that can serve analytics and AI use cases.
    • Ensure data architecture is scalable, consistent and aligned with enterprise standards.
    • Provide architectural direction and work with technical teams through solution implementation.
    • Help build a strong enterprise data foundation to support Zydus' broader digital and AI initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Data Engineering.
  • Experience working with knowledge graphs, semantic data platforms, or industrial data ontologies.
  • Experience building greenfield data platforms from scratch, ideally in manufacturing/industrial environments.
  • Strong expertise in data modelling, including canonical, domain-driven, asset-centric and graph-based models.
  • Understanding of industrial standards/ontologies.
  • Experience in data governance, data quality, MDM and DataOps within enterprise-scale environments.
