Job Description

  • Support the implementation and enhancement of privacy and data protection frameworks aligned with DPDP Act, GDPR, and other applicable regulations
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments, gap analyses, and remediation to evaluate and strengthen compliance posture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, HR, IT, security, procurement, and digital teams on privacy matters
  • Manage data subject requests, privacy complaints, and support incident/breach response processes
  • Develop and review privacy policies, notices, SOPs, templates, and contractual data protection clauses, including vendor arrangements
  • Track and report compliance metrics, monitor regulatory developments, and drive awareness through employee training and internal communication

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in law or a related field.
  • Expertise in data privacy regulations and their application in the retail/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, DPDP Act, privacy governance principles, and data protection practices.
  • Excellent communication skills. stakeholder management and compliance implementation.
