Job Description

* Data engineering & Data platform development

  • Connect to a wide range of different sources and connection types.
  • Ingest structure and semi structured data from API's, Odata feeds, SQL databases etc.
  • Develop data ingestion and processing templates for structured and semi structured data.



* Collaboration

  • Work closely with data governance team to ensure alignment on data access, provide insight into data lineage and provide auditability of data solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions o Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices

The Successful Applicant

* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

* 7+ years in data engineering o Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric o Experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse are a plus

* Technical skills:

  • SQL
  • Python / Pyspark o ETL/ELT with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse
  • Network related knowledge is a plus



* Knowledge of data practices (dimensional models, normalizing data, etc.)

* Knowledge of data platform design (federated versus centralized, etc.)
