Job Description

  • Oversee all corporate secretarial activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise the board of directors on governance best practices and legal obligations.
  • Draft, review, and maintain statutory documents and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage board meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor changes in legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the financial services consultancy sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulators and other external stakeholders.
  • Support in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of CS should have:

  • A professional qualification in company secretaryship (e.g., ICSI or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including exposure to global regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership interactions.
  • Proven ability to handle complex compliance, governance, and regulatory matters in a highly regulated, quality-driven environment.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and adherence to stringent quality and compliance standards.
