Job Description

  • Develop and execute the country sourcing strategy aligned with global business objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and strategic partners.
  • Drive cost optimisation, productivity improvements, and sourcing diversification.
  • Oversee product development, merchandising, quality assurance, and compliance functions.
  • Ensure ethical sourcing, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across the supply base.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage commercial terms.
  • Monitor market trends, capacity planning, and risk management.
  • Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams across sourcing, quality, compliance, and operations.
  • Represent the sourcing office in leadership reviews with global stakeholders.
  • Manage country P&L, budgets, and operational performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15-25 years of experience in retail sourcing, buying, merchandising, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Significant leadership experience managing large sourcing teams.
  • Strong network within textile, apparel, footwear, home, hardgoods, or general merchandise supplier ecosystems.
  • Experience working with global retailers, brands, or sourcing companies.
  • Proven track record in supplier development, cost management, and business expansion.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, ESG, quality systems, and supply chain risk management..
