About Our Client

A leading vacation ownership and leisure hospitality company is expanding its resort portfolio and seeking a strategic engineering leader to support growth, operational efficiency, sustainability, and asset reliability across multiple destinations

Job Description

  • Lead engineering operations, asset management, and maintenance strategy across a portfolio of 50+ hospitality resorts.
  • Drive CAPEX projects, including renovations, refurbishments, and new property developments, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Establish and standardise engineering policies, preventive maintenance programmes, and operational best practices across all properties.
  • Champion energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and utility optimisation to reduce costs and environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, building codes, and risk management requirements across the portfolio.
  • Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, while managing budgets, vendor relationships, and engineering performance KPIs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, or Electrical
  • 15+ years of engineering and facilities management experience within hospitality, resorts, hotels, or large multi-site environments.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple properties or a regional engineering function.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale preventive maintenance programmes, asset reliability, and infrastructure operations.
  • Strong track record of delivering CAPEX projects, renovations, refurbishments, and new property developments.
  • Expertise in energy management, sustainability initiatives, and cost optimisation programmes.
  • Deep understanding of statutory compliance, safety regulations, building codes, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with experience developing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in CMMS and data-driven maintenance management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and property teams across multiple locations.
