An exciting opportunity for an experienced business leader to spearhead the growth and operations of a rapidly expanding healthcare services platform across hospitals, clinics, and treatment centres. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive expansion, profitability, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence while shaping the future of one of India's most respected healthcare brands.
  • Lead the scaling of a leading Ayurveda healthcare platform nationwide
  • Own P&L and drive strategic growth alongside the CEO and promoters

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned business leader with 20+ years of experience managing and scaling multi-location service businesses.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading healthcare services, hospitals, diagnostics, retail healthcare, hospitality, or similar service-led businesses.
  • Strong track record in business expansion, strategic partnerships, and asset-light growth models.
  • Demonstrated success in building businesses across multiple geographies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership.
  • Experience managing large and geographically diverse teams.
  • Ability to engage effectively with promoters, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Prior exposure to promoter-led or family-managed organizations.
  • Fluency in Malayalam.
  • A balanced approach towards growth, profitability, and service quality.

The Successful Applicant

A successful COO - Healthcare Services should have:

  • A strong educational background relevant to healthcare, life sciences, or business management.
  • Proven leadership experience in operational roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare services landscape and regulatory frameworks in India.
  • Ability to manage complex operations and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on achieving strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
