The client is a multinational, well reputed and established organisation in the FMCG industry.

Job Description

  • Drive the implementation and continuous enhancement of the enterprise compliance framework, standards, and governance processes.
  • Conduct risk-based compliance reviews and audits, partnering with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and strengthen controls.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical policies, SOPs, playbooks, and implementation plans.
  • Design and deliver compliance training, awareness initiatives, and culture-building programmes across the organisation.
  • Develop management dashboards and governance reports, providing visibility on compliance obligations, incidents, risks, and remediation status.
  • Lead or support strategic compliance initiatives, regulatory change projects, and the remediation of material compliance incidents across functions and locations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate must have:

  • An LLB or equivalent degree in law.
  • Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or corporate legal functions, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian statutory and regulatory compliance, with exposure to areas such as labour laws, EHS, privacy, competition law, product compliance, supply chain regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical business controls and drive cross-functional compliance initiatives.
  • Experience in compliance management systems, regulatory change management, compliance reviews, legal risk assessments, and management reporting.
