Job Description

Act as a key advisor to the leadership team on financial matters and business strategy.Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts
  • Build data-driven financial models for revenue, cost, and capital allocation
  • Drive variance analysis, identify key business drivers, and recommend corrective actions
  • Establish KPI dashboards across business units (composites, technical textiles, filtration, etc.)
  • Strengthen decision support systems using analytics and digital tools



Strategic Finance & Growth

  • Partner with CEO and leadership team on business strategy and capital allocation
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, capex investments, and M&A initiatives
  • Lead scenario planning and risk analysis for expansion into new markets/products
  • Support pricing strategies and margin optimization
  • Drive return on capital (ROCE) improvement initiatives



Business Finance (Commercial Finance)

  • Act as a strategic business partner to BU heads and operations teams
  • Enable profitability analysis by product line, geography, and customer segment
  • Drive cost optimization programs across manufacturing and supply chain
  • Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables) and cash flow efficiency
  • Support sales and operations planning (S&OP) with financial insights



Finance & Accounts Leadership

  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements as per Ind AS / IFRS
  • Manage audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance
  • Establish strong internal controls and governance frameworks
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives (ERP upgrades, automation, digitization)



Treasury & Capital Management

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and funding strategy
  • Optimize capital structure and cost of capital
  • Oversee forex risk management, especially for export-driven business
  • Ensure liquidity for capex-heavy manufacturing operations



Manufacturing & Industrial Finance Focus

  • Drive financial oversight of multi-plant manufacturing operations
  • Monitor plant-level profitability, cost absorption, and efficiency metrics
  • Evaluate capex projects, asset utilization, and payback periods
  • Implement standard costing and variance tracking systems



Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and lead a high-performance finance team
  • Engage with Board of Directors, investors, auditors, and lenders
  • Support potential IPO readiness / demerger transition requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO applicant should have:

  • CA with 15-18 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years in senior finance leadership roles



Experience

  • Strong background in manufacturing / industrial / materials sector
  • Proven expertise in:
    • FP&A and business finance
    • Strategic finance and capital allocation
    • Multi-plant operations finance
  • Experience in demerger, IPO, or transformation environments is a plus
