Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain mid-market clients in the general insurance sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored insurance solutions for clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas of growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all client interactions.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance overall team performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP - Mid Market should have:

  • Educational qualifications in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the general insurance industry, preferably in mid-market client management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address client needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to build lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of the insurance market and regulatory frameworks in Mumbai.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
