Job Description

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute category strategies for finished formulations and external manufacturing (CMO) spend.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, supplier selection, contract management, and RFQ processes.
  • Manage strategic relationships with European CMOs, driving performance, value, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on supplier onboarding, supply continuity, and procurement initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to support long-term sourcing and business objectives.



The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

    • 12+ years of strategic procurement experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Strong experience in finished formulations and external manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) procurement.
    • Mandatory experience working with biosimilars/ biologics
    • Mandatory experience managing and negotiating with European suppliers/CMOs.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing category strategies.
    • Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments and global supply networks.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive value, manage risk, and build strategic supplier partnerships.
    • Self-driven, collaborative professional capable of operating effectively in a global matrix organization.
