Job Description

  • Draft and review data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Provide legal advice on data protection laws and ensure compliance across all business operations.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and recommend necessary changes to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement data protection frameworks and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess the organization's data privacy practices to ensure adherence to relevant laws.
  • Manage data breach incidents and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing training programs to create awareness about data privacy compliance.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • LL.B/LL.M with a strong understanding of data privacy regulations.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in handling legal matters related to data privacy and protection.
  • Excellent knowledge of data protection laws, such as GDPR or similar local regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear legal advice.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
