Job Description

  • Building, reviewing and maintaining detailed financial models for project financing transactions
  • Supporting project debt financing, credit analysis, sensitivity analysis and IRR analysis
  • Managing financing transactions from initial lender engagement through documentation and disbursement
  • Preparing financial information, credit notes, presentations and transaction-related materials
  • Coordinating with banks and financial institutions to address queries and fulfil financing requirements
  • Managing relationships with lenders, financial institutions and credit rating agencies
  • Supporting credit rating exercises and conducting analysis aimed at achieving competitive ratings
  • Monitoring financial and non-financial covenants and ensuring timely compliance
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to collect financial, commercial and operational information
  • Supporting negotiations relating to financing terms, documentation and lender requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • A CA or MBA qualification, preferably with a specialisation in Finance
  • Excellent financial modelling skills, with the ability to independently build and analyse detailed models
  • Relevant experience in project debt financing, credit analysis and IRR analysis
  • Prior experience working with banks, financial institutions or credit rating agencies
  • Good understanding of financing documentation, disbursement processes and covenant compliance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work from the Mumbai office five days a week, Monday to Friday
