Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and update privacy policies, agreements, and related documentation.
  • Advise internal teams on data privacy-related legal matters.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments for projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and address privacy risks and implement necessary measures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide legal guidance on data protection issues.
  • Support the legal department in responding to data breaches and regulatory inquiries.
  • Stay updated on changes in data privacy regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Manager Legal (Data Privacy) should have:

  • LL.B/LL.M
  • 2-4 years of Experience
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating privacy risks.
  • CISA/CISM/CISSP/ISO 27001/ ISO 27701, CIPT/CIPM/CIPP/Internal Auditor certification (Preferred)
