The AGM EHS based out of Trichy will be responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental, health, and safety protocols within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the construction industry. This role requires a strong understanding of EHS practices and the ability to drive safety initiatives in an industrial and manufacturing setup.
  • 15+ years in EHS & plant safety for construction (PEB) | NEBOSH certified
  • Fluent in Tamil, experienced with steel fabrication, PEB, audits & compliance

Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements for the PEB industry
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards
  • Oversee safety training programs for employees to ensure awareness and compliance
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to EHS standards
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage compliance-related documentation
  • Investigate incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility

The Successful Applicant

A successful AGM EHS should have:

  • A degree in engineering, industrial safety, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in EHS management within the industrial and manufacturing sector
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to the PEB industry
  • Ability to lead safety initiatives and foster a culture of compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
