Our Inclusive Culture

Our culture is inclusive, so you feel welcomed and supported. A diverse team brings different perspectives to our business, generating creativity, problem-solving and sustainability that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.

We recognise and appreciate that every individual is different, and we want to make sure our people are comfortable bringing their true selves to work.

“Having an inclusive culture means we ask questions, listen to feedback and put the right strategy in place to get better and do better. By doing the right thing internally with our People and our commitment to an inclusive culture, this means we can support our customers to do the same and drive change, growth and innovation.”

– Sheri Hughes, Global Inclusive Culture & Social Impact Director

At Page, we are committed to…

Women@Page

Championing and supporting our women is key to making our workplace more diverse and inclusive for everyone. Some of the things that have been driving us forward are our continuous listening strategy, our updated parental policy scheme and our annual talent review process. As part of our commitment to create opportunities for women at Page, we also connect people from across different levels to act as mentors and mentees – to share experiences and lift each other up.

“The commitment to strengthening support and equal treatment has been truly inspiring, particularly through mentoring, coaching, and the significant progress we have made in promoting a flexible and supportive work culture for all. Seeing people thrive in this environment has been incredibly motivating, driving me to contribute to building a workplace where everyone can succeed.”

- Smiti Rastogi,
Director, Michael Page, India

Pride@Page

People perform better when they can be themselves. During Pride Month we celebrate to reaffirm our commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community both with our ongoing support. We take the opportunity to raise the voices of our LGBTQ+ employees, and to understand how we can be great allies. During Pride, our people shared what an inclusive workplace means to them, find out more below…

"Our inclusive culture means that I can be myself in my work, without hiding who I am or who I love. When I started, I was worried about how my sexual orientation might be perceived, but quickly I realised that diversity and respect are valued here. This culture allows me to focus on giving my best knowing that my talent is what truly matters."

- Jorge Guerrero
Senior Director, Michael Page Mexico

Parents@Page

We get that juggling parenthood, caregiving, and work life can be tricky. That’s why our Parents@Page network is here to support you, providing a way of work where your family and personal life are always part of the equation. We’re dedicated to giving our parents and carers great resources, information, and understanding at every step of their journey.

"As a parent of a 5-year old, I have been grateful for the support and flexibility my leaders have provided. My husband and I live in California and our parents and larger family are on the East Coast, so we don't have a big network to rely on locally for appointments etc. Having the ability to be the most present parent to my daughter that I can be is of the most value to me."

- Melody Mercado,
Associate Partner, Page Executive US

Ability@Page

Creating an inclusive workplace for all abilities starts with understanding and removing any barriers – something we’re deeply committed to. By making sure we have a culture that embraces diversity and accessibility, we unlock opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth for everyone. In 2023, we partnered with Deque to conduct a Global Accessibility Audit, helping us enhance accessibility across our workplace. Every year, we also champion awareness through webinars, stories, and opportunities to learn.

"I was born totally deaf in my right ear and with 20-25% hearing in my left ear. Surprisingly, it wasn't picked up until I was 11 years old… When I joined Page, I couldn't believe the support and encouragement on offer. The office layout is great for me – no blockages, open spaces. The HR and DE&I team have been incredible. But mostly it has been the non-judgement and openness that everyone at Page seems to have ingrained in them.”

- Ben Smith,
Business Manager, Michael Page, United Kingdom

Age@Page

An age-diverse workplace brings a wealth of perspectives, experiences, and skills that strengthen teams and drive innovation. This not only enhances collaboration but also ensures we’re better equipped to meet the diverse needs of our clients and candidates.

"Our inclusive culture means that age does not limit what I can achieve. When I joined the team, I was the youngest member and worried that my ideas might not be taken seriously. But I found encouragement to share my ideas and learned from the experiences of my older colleagues. Today, I feel that we achieve greater success because of this balance between enthusiasm and experience."

- Lara Haidous,
Managing Consultant, United Arab Emirates

Unity@Page

We’re a global community here at Page, and unity is all about embracing and celebrating the rich diversity of cultures, festivals, and traditions we are lucky to have. We create safe spaces, host training sessions, and share employee stories to ensure everyone feels included and valued.

“Our inclusive culture means being part of a global company that celebrates our differences. I really like traditional Chinese culture and Page gives me confidence to share and promote our history.”

- Tony Sun,
GTS Senior Analyst, China

We’ve got a great base to build on, and we know there is always more we can do. We continuously carry out reviews across these areas to ensure our workplace policies are inclusive and unbiased, and we update our policies when we think we can do better. We also regularly check in with our people through our annual ‘Have Your Say’ survey.
