I’m currently a Manager at PageGroup, and it’s been close to five years with the organisation now. I lead the Product & Technology practice in Gurgaon, working closely with industries such as B2B, SaaS, consumer tech, fintech, logistics and healthtech.
I’m also part of the Expert Pathway program, wherein I focus on building strong client relationships and deep domain expertise. Staying connected to market trends allows me to offer relevant insights and build stronger, more meaningful relationships with both clients and candidates.
I joined Page in 2021 as an Associate Consultant, and my journey since then has been both rewarding and enriching – with four promotions along the way.
In the initial years, I was largely an individual contributor. After that I spent some time mentoring, but realised that I wanted to focus more on clients and my network. Choosing Expert Pathway gave me the opportunity to do exactly that and spend my time where I felt I could add the most value.
What really stands out is the ownership and autonomy here. You’re trusted with decisions, with strong support behind whatever path you choose.
The number one thing that I love is the culture here – it’s extremely supportive.
Beyond that, Page offers a continuous learning journey. With every promotion, there has always been something new to learn. When I started, the role was more delivery focused. Over time, I built confidence, and gradually started building accounts independently.
I also value the flexibility and ownership here. You’re trusted to shape your day and your career, whether that means focusing more on business development, or your candidate network.
Travel, without a doubt. I make it a point to travel every quarter – whether within India or internationally. It gives me something to look forward to and helps me recharge.
I recently visited Hong Kong through Platinum Club, which is Page’s way of recognising performance by bringing together consultants from across APAC on a sponsored trip. It was a great experience bonding with colleagues beyond the India team.
Apart from that, I enjoy spending time with friends. I love the Friday drinks and catch-ups after office hours!
There will be challenges, and at times you may feel overwhelmed – that’s part of the journey. My advice would be to stay consistent and trust the process.
Be proactive, stay updated on what’s happening in the market, build your network and personal brand, and come with a growth mindset. The support system at Michael Page is very strong. If you have the willingness to learn and grow, things will work out.
