The role entails managing 8-10 Strategic Commodity Managers with experience in cables and Harness sourcing for capital equipments, Special Machines, Auto or complex FMCD products
The role would require a subject-matter expertise and owning the end-to-end sourcing life cycle for the Cable/Harness commodities.A deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier landscape and commercial drivers of technically complex components for capital equipment in relevant industries is needed.
This role is responsible for leading direct and indirect material sourcing, supplier development, localisation initiatives, and cost reduction programmes for the India business. The successful candidate will drive sourcing strategy, ensure supply continuity, optimise spend, and collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to support business growth.
