This role is responsible for overseeing complete manufacturing operations for fashion accessories, including production planning, inventory management, quality assurance, costing, and vendor coordination. The incumbent will drive operational efficiency, ensure timely production, manage ERP-based reporting, and lead production teams to achieve business objectives.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
  • Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Manage raw material inventory, work-in-progress (WIP), and material traceability across manufacturing processes.
  • Drive quality control initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and wastage.
  • Coordinate with job workers and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Monitor production costs, prepare MIS reports, and work closely with finance teams on costing and reconciliations.
  • Lead, train, and develop production teams while ensuring workforce productivity, discipline, and safety standards.
  • Drive ERP-based manufacturing processes related to production planning, BOM management, inventory control, and job-work tracking

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 10-12 years of overall manufacturing operations experience.
  • Minimum 7 years in a Production Manager or senior production leadership role.
  • Experience in fashion accessories, imitation jewellery, bags, garments, or lifestyle manufacturing is essential.



Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and production planning.
  • Expertise in raw material inventory management and WIP control.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, BOM management, and production reporting.
  • Strong exposure to vendor management, job-work manufacturing models, costing, and MIS reporting.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, team management, and operational excellence capabilities
