Key Responsibilities:
1. Reinsurance Strategy & Program Design
Develop and execute reinsurance strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Optimize treaty and facultative reinsurance programs for capital efficiency and profitability.
Model retention levels, coverage structures, and costs to maximize value.

2. Reinsurance Operations & Compliance
Oversee reinsurance operations, ensuring adherence to governance, controls, and IRDAI regulations.
Manage reinsurance reporting, recoveries, and financial settlements.
Maintain accurate documentation of contracts and endorsements.

3. Stakeholder & Market Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and intermediaries.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to secure optimal coverage.
Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and finance teams to align reinsurance strategies with business objectives.

4. Process Optimization & Digital Innovation
Drive automation and efficiency in reinsurance processes using digital tools.
Implement analytics and dashboards for performance monitoring and reporting.
Integrate reinsurance systems with core insurance platforms for seamless operations.

5. Risk Management & Financial Analysis
Monitor program performance, utilization, and counterparty credit risk.
Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess protection adequacy.
Provide financial insights on reinsurance strategy and capital optimization.
