The Head of Enterprise Architecture and IT Strategy will lead the development and implementation of robust IT strategies and architecture to support business goals in the financial services industry. This role is based in Mumbai and focuses on aligning technology initiatives with the company's objectives.

About Our Client

Our client is a 50:50 joint venture leveraging technological capabilities and digital innovation to transform the general and health insurance landscape in India.

Job Description

  • Define IT strategy and multi-year roadmaps; shape the change portfolio and guide prioritization.
  • Own architecture principles, standards, blueprints and target pictures; reduce duplication and ensure interoperability including data and AI/GenAI architecture.
  • Steer architecture for major initiatives; provide trusted advisory to senior stakeholders on technology choices and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Run architecture governance and alignment with Group EA communities / Group Architecture Board (GAB) / standards; manage exceptions transparently.
  • Build EA capabilities, methods, reference architectures and knowledge management
  • Regularly engage and work closely with the CTO; domain/solution architects; application/infrastructure/tooling heads; Group EA communities; business/OE stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Enterprise Architecture and IT Strategy should have:

  • 15+ years in industry, hands-on experience (10+) in enterprise architecture of global organizations.
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, application integration patterns and modern application architecture.
  • Understanding of data-driven and AI-enabled operating models.
  • Strong governance and stakeholder advisory track record.
  • Experience shaping portfolios, standards and transformation programs
