Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Delivery

  • Achieve Annual Premium Equivalent (APE), WRP, and new business targets.
  • Drive product mix across Protection, Savings, Retirement, ULIP, Annuity, and Group products.
  • Ensure consistent growth in policies sourced, premium collection, and persistency.



Team Management

  • Lead and mentor ARM / RM/ SRM / ZM.
  • Monitor manpower productivity and recruitment.
  • Develop succession planning and talent pipelines.
  • Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and performance tracking.



Distribution Management

  • Customer acquisition initiatives - as the channel is a no existing customer data channel, collect leads from references and drive lead conversion regularly.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of lead management systems.



Sales Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines.
  • Monitor quality metrics, persistency, and mis-selling controls.
  • Drive audit readiness and compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Channel Head - Prime channel should have:

Experience Required

  • Life Insurance Sales.
  • Experience managing multi-location teams.
  • Exposure to Agency, Direct, Banca, or Partner distribution models.
  • Strong track record in business growth and team leadership.
