Job Description

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across multiple business units.
  • Drive profitability improvement through operational and financial synergies across assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reporting.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, bids, and expansion projects through financial modelling and due diligence.
  • Manage capital expenditure governance and optimise capital structure and funding costs

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Approximately 20+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in retail set ups.
  • Proven finance leadership experience within the retail sector, ideally 5-7+ years in senior roles.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, treasury, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and business partnering.
  • Experience with ERP-based accounting systems and strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives
