Job Description

Role Objective

The goal is to become a strategic business partner and advise the management on improvement and growth of business. This role with lead finance & accounting function and work closely with senior management team to deliver the financial goals of the Organization. The incumbent is also responsible for Corporate and Statutory compliances as per regulatory requirements and to assure sound financial management of the company by implementing financial policies, systems and controls.Reporting:

The position reports to Managing Director, India with dotted line to Group CFO, based USA.Principal Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the CEO, senior leadership, and Board to define and execute the company's financial goals, strategy, and long‑term value agenda.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all finance functions, driving profitability, performance management, and disciplined capital allocation.
  • Act as custodian of company assets, ensuring strong internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance across the organisation.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, integrating financial insights into strategic and operational decision‑making.
  • Own financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax (GST, income tax, transfer pricing), and accounting controls, including Indian and US GAAP requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, banking relationships, and financing, optimising liquidity and capital efficiency.
  • Oversee internal and statutory audits (Big 4), ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and integrity of financial operations.
  • Work closely with global headquarters as part of the global finance leadership team, aligning local execution with global financial strategy.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

Experience Requirements:

  • 15 Yrs, Well-versed in all aspects of Strategic Planning, Financial management, Reporting, Commercial Operations
  • Experience in a multinational corporation with cross border operations, particularly one with U.S. ties, is highly desirable.
  • Consumer goods and manufacturing experience
  • Should be Heading finance of the organization as a CFO or VP Finance reporting to the MD
  • Experience in managing finances for a public listed company
  • Accounting and banking operations with a track record of working with senior leadership team and delivering financial goals along with Business heads. Ability to work and manage working on Oracle system
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
