We have five employee networks which play a key role in creating an inclusive culture and building a sense of community. 2. DAN (Disability Network): DAN’s aim is to raise awareness of visible and invisible disabilities and health conditions, embrace people’s differences and champion inclusion across Colt.
3. PrideMatters: This is Colt’s LGBTQ+ and Allies network, created in order to encourage diversity and inclusion across the business.
4. YOUnited: YOUnited is here to promote cross cultural understanding and create a supportive environment where anyone can flourish regardless of their race, ethnicity, faith or cultural background.
5. Next@Colt: Next@Colt brings together young people globally to build connections, develop young talent and give back to the community, to improve young employees’ experiences at work.
One of the best things about Colt is the work-life balance but this hasn't always been my experience in my career. I'm able to continue that work-life balance because no one expects me to be constantly online out of office hours. When I finish for the day, I wrap up my household work and then spend at least 30 minutes with my brushes, canvas, and paper. Being at Colt has given me the opportunity to be content with my job and has still given me the time to keep my passion alive.
Colt has now made parental leave more inclusive for all globally and supports all parents with childcare vouchers & paperwork. Colt is extremely supportive of parents within the LGBTQ+ group.
