Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director - India, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end production operations, overseeing manufacturing, quality, planning, and engineering functions.
  • Drive operational excellence through process evaluation, optimisation, and strategic project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with cost, quality, and delivery benchmarks, while improving productivity and throughput.
  • Manage and develop large cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute strategic, organisational, and technical development initiatives.
  • Lead quality assurance programs, ensuring defect analysis, preventive measures, and compliance with global standards.
  • Oversee budget planning, cost control, and variance analysis for production operations.
  • Collaborate closely with global and domestic teams to achieve performance and business goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical or Production Engineering; Management qualification preferred.
  • Brings 20+ years of experience in production leadership within relevant industries (bearings, turbines, blowers, compressors, or precision machining).
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in process optimisation, lean manufacturing, and project management.
  • Possesses excellent leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experienced in handling large teams and managing performance, quality, and compliance in a global manufacturing environment.
