Job Description

Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and oversee all legal and regulatory matters within the company
  • Provide guidance and advice on all legal related matters
  • Develop and lead the company's legal strategy
  • Ensure the company's legal compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Handle litigation and dispute resolution
  • Supervise and manage the legal department
  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations
  • Engage and coordinate with external law firms when necessary

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Vice President - Legal Head' should have:

  • At least 12 years of overall experience
  • Open to Pune as a location
  • Candidate should come with experience dealing complex contracts across any industry
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial contracts with multi-national companies
  • Strong commercial instincts and excellent business collaboration skills
  • Experience from working with the compliance areas of Export Control and Trade Sanctions, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Fair Competition, and Data Privacy is a merit.
