About Our Client

Our client is a listed company in the Chemicals space with a turnover of 1500 Cr. They are currently looking to hire a successor to the CFO.

Job Description

  • Monthly Financial reporting; finalization of accounts - financial and cost accounts
  • Leverage financial modeling and data analysis to prepare meaningful commercial reports/provide insights to operations management and corporate head office for decision making.
  • Review and investigate any discrepancies around costing.
  • Provide financial & KPI performance reporting.
  • Operational variance analysis including labor, variable, fixed and material cost variances.
  • Assist operations to identify gaps and drive performance.
  • Monthly P&L's and management reports
  • Maintenance of BOM's, costings and routings
  • Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimize efficiencies to improve profits. * Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analysis, and information reports. * Play a lead role in adapting SAP to agile business processes and steer other finance related digitalization initiatives.
  • Build a high performing engaged team by setting stretch objectives, investing in people development, timely recognition, and continuous feedback.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 15 years of experience preferably in manufacturing intensive organizations and around 8-10 years leading teams.
  • Exposure to foreign currency and translation accounting under IND-AS
  • Understanding of IND-AS, SEBI Regulations and Corporate Laws
  • Experience in a listed company
