This position will be responsible for handling the Technical accounting aspects for a listed US technology company based out of Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Technical Accounting & Finance principles.

Our client is a US-based listed Marketing Technology company offering A.I powered solutions and are looking to expand their presence in India through their team in Hyderabad.

Job Description

  • Support senior finance management with accounting policy development and presenting recommendations with senior stakeholders.
  • Analysing and preparing the contracts in various areas including, but not limited to, complex revenue recognition, variable consideration, variable interest entities, business combinations, goodwill impairment, derivative valuation and accounting, stock based compensation, leases, etc.
  • Technical evaluation, documentation and analysis of proposed transactions under accounting rules.
  • Execution of the policies and assist preparation of financial statements.
  • Deliver GAAP training.
  • Apply independent and objective professional judgement in applying accounting standards to meet expectations including regulatory requirements.
  • Drafting and designing accounting policies, technical accounting memos, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified CA/CPA is a must.
  • 3+ years of experience across technical accounting, compliance, and financial reporting with USGAAP/IFRS.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and in-depth understanding across ASC 606, 842, 805, 718, 350.
  • Experience in working with US geographies/US Public companies is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to Hyderabad.
