The role will involve working with senior leadership in the electrification and automation space for projects across industries (especially process industries and industrial). It would involve working closely to understand the products and solutions in the electrification space - grid system solutions, substation solutions and other relevant products in the power space.

The company is a global organisation which focuses on electrification and power distribution with clients from different industries. A lot of the work which they do is with clients in the industrial sector and process industries (metals, mining, cement, chemicals, marine, oil and gas etc.)

Job Description

The responsibilities of the role are -

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and address challenges in the electrification and automation space
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and share understanding of the process industries and the industrial sectors
  • Monitor the performance of strategic projects and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support decision-making processes with accurate data and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in consultancy, strategy, and change management.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Strategy Manager should have:

  • An electrical engineer with experience in electrification and automation solutions in the power sector
  • Proven expertise in strategy development and change management within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Should have some experience of working in sales of electrification and automation solutions
  • Proficiency in analysing market trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the electronics industry and its market dynamics.
