Job Description

  • Identifying risks of chemical interactions with materials and experimenting to mitigate the challenges
  • Conducting various characterisation and compatibility tests to verify the chemical resistance of new or existing components
  • Driving related failure analysis on failed materials from the field and creating failure prevention strategies
  • Formulation and release of new chemicals based on client needs and program requirements, aligned with safety, process and core design
  • Designing technical trade-off frameworks for various combinations with correlated risks

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have 4-10 years of experience post their PhD/Master's in characterising, analysing and processing thermoplastic, thermoset or other polymers. They must have an understanding of chemical analysis techniques like EDX, XRD, AFM, GC-MS etc and must exhibit strong problem-solving skills. They must be adept in communicating information, creating comprehensive reports and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
